Day 60 - 100 days, 100 courses (Sunday, May 12, 2019)

After 12 holes of pretty good golf I experienced my first rain out. I was supposed to tee off at 10 but saw the weather forecast and got to the course at 7:30. I was flying around the course when around 8:45 the skies darkened. I kept going through some light rain and then things escalated with a little thunder. I played 5 more minutes when the sky opened up. I just had finished 12 and was about 1 1/2 miles from the clubhouse. Golf carts don’t go that fast so even though I had rain gear I got soaked. It was disappointing because I was playing pretty well and hadn’t lost any balls. Folly sounds about right.

Would travel: 30-60 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again

This course was well suited to my level of play. It provided challenges without making it impossible to score in the par to bogey range. In addition the staff was very personable and helpful.

As is the case with most "club" courses, the members think non-members are second-class duffers! Some of the staff seem to have the same attitude. Perhaps they should close the course to the piublic and try to foot the bill for upkeep themselves!

Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: I would play again, Average course for the area

This course is one of the most challenging courses that I have ever golfed on. Lots of fairway traps and hazzards. Your objective is to play this course very carefully and avoid them if you can. If you hit these hazzards, don't get down on yourself, play them out and move on. This can be a mental challenge, but you will enjoy yourself, as I did. The fairways are excellent and the greens are very outstanding. The staff and management was fantastic and they treated us very well. The price is not too bad for this great beach community. The only downside is that the houses are a little too close to the course. I will play this course again, and I do HIGHLY RECOMMEND this course to anyone at anytime.

Would travel: 30 -60 miles
Bottom line: Ranks with the best in this price level
